For those who hasn't hear anything from USC, I just heard from someone working inside USC stating their committee is done this semester calling interviews. they are expecting to start again after the New Year for the Spring interview session. they are expecting to interview about 300 people in the spring, so that would be the next time we might hear from them.

i guess that's one less school i'll be waiting to here from the next couple of weeks...

oh man that sucks! 🙁 i submitted my stuff mid-august, what about everyone else?

so i just called the office and they said this is not true.

I'm curious as to what they said different, as I also havn't heard yet from them. Also, on their website it says something about accepting/interviewing 1/4 of the class Dec....then 1/4 each wave, until the class is filled in summer. Any truth to this? thanks.

I'm guessing if you got that info off of their website, it's probably true.

That's pretty much been the pattern over the last couple cycles.

USC is a back-up school for almost everyone with solid stats so I assume there are lots of applicants who get accepted on Dec 1st and withdraw because they have better choices with lower tuition and no PBL system. So I think you need to be patient. There are many pre-dec applicants who have solid gpa and dat scores and they get an interview and most probably admission. But once they turn down their offer, space becomes available and USC starts sending new wave of interviews for other applicants.
