Did Harvard cash your checks in yet?

Nope, and I mailed my check in in mid-June too.

Haven't cashed it either.
Tracking says that someone signed for it, so I know it got there.

Harvard tends to be slower at reviewing their applicants because they know that:
1. Class is small (35) and easy to fill
2. They rather wait for all the applicantions, so they pick the best class, as many high quality applicants apply late.
3. Tuition is relatively cheap at 45k for a private school.
4. For most people, if they got accepted to harvard, they go. Many have harvard as a reach school, but not many have harvard as a back up.


Last year, they didn't send out intreviews until late Oct, and I'm betting they will do the same this year.

Harvard is also pretty late in responding because their admissions "committee" consists of precisely two people. But if you call, the lady is pretty nice and helpful.

They have only two people because of reasons mentioned above.

I'm not holding my breath for them to reply any time soon.

Yeah not too bad, really. About 1000 applications and they pick out 35 they like. I think 2 peeps can handle the job.

I called Harvard today to check this out. They said they won't cash any checks til they start reviewing applications which won't start til the end of the month/early Sept.
