As people may know from my last post, I'm a first year interested in Ophthalmology. I am pretty nervous because I know how competitive it is.
For those of you who didn't match, what do you think went wrong with your specific application? Or, for those that didn't match one year and waited one year and then were successful the next year, what exactly did you do to improve your application?
I don't know if this thread will get many responses, but it would be beneficial for many of us to learn from people before us, and potentially avoid the pitfalls that some who didn't match fell into.
