Sup SDN, I was wondering for those who got pianoed or frapped, would the search and destroy method work for those passages, or would reading the passage first before looking at the question be a better idea? Thanks

I think these two passages have been retired. I haven't heard of anyone over the past few months seeing these passages.

Wow that makes me feel much better if it true lol, also I've been reading others peoples breakdowns for the last few days that took the dat this past week, and nobody complained about getting these passages. My test is on July 29th, and I was getting worried that I might be getting hit with it lol

Yeah they have been retired and THANK GOD for that! I got the FRAP version a couple of years ago, and honestly it sucked! Every section was difficult! I still did well in sciences but I think luck was on my side a bit too. But RC?!!! Damn, did that kick my ass! I mean I'm not very strong at RC to begin with, but that ethics passage was ridiculously long! What sucked was that I skipped the ethics passage to do the other 2 first, but the other too were so much harder! The ethics was just long (about 27 paragraphs) but it was all S&D, not to mention each paragraph talked about a different thing and you had to go though 27 paragraphs to find the answer. It was a total mess! Thanks god it's no longer out there.

i got piano'd in april....search and destroy was possible for 70 percent of the questions but the other 30 needed a really good read! haha

I had an ethics passage on my DAT (7/26). I don't know if it's the same as the rumors out there. It has 22 paragraphs and the reading was really vague in my opinion. However, the paragraphs are shorter than the other passages, so it doesn't take you a hella more time. Overall, some questions from that passage are harder to answer but I didn't think it was that bad as people make it out to be (assuming we're talking about the same passage)
