Do you get a notification saying when AADSAS mails your application to the dental schools?

Also, I paid the processing fees for some schools (those that did not explicitly state that we shouldn't until receiving an email e.g. UCLA, Midwestern AZ). Anyone else do the same?

I got a notification on the app and an email saying my grades were verified and then under the check status my schools say verified and some having awaiting info (I still have to take my DAT). I think that means that the schools has them.

I also paid my fees, some emails were sent out right after I submitted their app and others took 1-2 weeks (probably waiting for the gpa to verify).

I am not 100% sure on this but I think AADSAS doesn't do the whole "mail-out" thing anymore. Someone else said this in another thread and I also called and they said the app is sent directly to schools now electronically (I guess after you're verified). And yes, pay the fees for the schools that want them immediately. For others that say wait, you wait until you get an email requesting the supplemental/fee.

I had two transcripts, one got there on June 1 (electronic) and another on June 19th (I requested it from my school June 1 and it was sent on June 2nd). Everything was verified on June 23rd so only 4 days.

Yup. And verification takes like a week or so.

They will just wait till its verified. Pitt did that to me and when it was verified they sent me another email saying it was complete.

Really? Only a week? I called them to ask and they told me it takes 3-4 weeks for them to verify transcripts.

Yeah that's what they told me too. They said "up to 4 weeks" but it doesn't actually take that long--at least if you're this early in the cycle. I could imagine that it would take longer if you apply around August. But yeah mine took a week from the day all my transcripts were in.
