For those who've been notified by the school via telephone (ie: called the school to find out), have you receieved your acceptance package in the mail yet? or do you know if they mailed them out this week? I talked to the admissions dept. last week and they told me it would be mailed out on Monday, I'm just wondering if anyone got their's yet?

Since I'm up North in Canada, I'm assuming I'll get mine a day or so later than everyone else.

if I get in, I think I will pick Finch over any other med schools I've interviewed at...Finch is GREAT!😛

Hi,

Yes I'm DEFINETLY going to choose Finch even if I get in to the other Med schools I chose. Finch has always been my first choice and I am so blessed to have gotten in! especially this early!!!! its certainly an early Christmas present.

So tell me, have you received your package in the mail yet? cause I havn't.... been looking EVERY day this week.... I just can't wait to get it because then I'll really celebrate... when I see my acceptance in Ink on paper 🙂 🙂 🙂

i havent received mine yet either. so i guess we have nothing to worry about.
my mom called yesterday wondering why i hadnt received it yet.
and wondering if i was sure he had not told the wrong person about the acceptance. haha

That's a horrible thought! But I have to say that I will feel a lot better about it when I actually have the acceptance in hand.

I received my acceptance package last night, but I live in Chicago, so don't worry!!🙂 Just as a heads up, they give you only 5 business days from the day you receive the letter to mail in a non-refundable $100 check. They also send the student housing application and info.

It's nice to hear people talking about liking Finch. I'm still trying to figure out where the bad rap comes from, cause I thought it seemed like a nice school and everyone says the match list and board scores are good.

Don't know for sure if it's where I'll end up, but they are going to get my $100 🙂

Hi all...

Yeah so perhaps if Lisa received her acceptance pacakge yesterday.... we'll receive it tomorrow or Friday, or I might get it Monday since I live in Canada.

Wait.... I have a question for a few of you.... you mentioned receiving mail at night.... does your mail come at night? or is it just that you picked it up at night? or are you expecting it to be delivered by courier?

Because here in Canada, most people get their mail first thing in the morning, or around noon. The latest would be 2 or 3pm (but very rare).

That's really cool to get your mail in the morning. That way I wouldn't be obsessing about getting my mail all day when I am at work. Yeah, here in Cali, mail has always come after 3pm, sometimes after 4. That's cool that you are from Canada? R U applying up there too? Why do u want to come to the US?

Thanks Snowbear. I was positively impressed by the facilities. The anatomy lab and mock doctor's office were great. My student host and her friends were wonderful as well, but I didn't get to interact with many other students. Overall I really enjoyed my visit, and I'm thrilled to have been accepted.
