2 of my friends that are currently in dental school had that happen. One had 2 pre december interviews and got accepted to 1 (in January I think). The other had 2 post december interviews and got accepted to 1 (in February). Don't worry about the interview number. At the end of the day, both of my friends are going to be dentists!

Having more interviews doesnt necessarily guarantee acceptance. I know someone who had 3 pre-dec interviews last cycle and didnt get accepted any. But then I also know someone who had 1 post-dec interview and got in after being wait listed. Anything can happen. If you have one inteview so far, make it count!

Haha sorry. I really don't know what happened during his interviews... but if you feel confident after yours, I'm pretty sure you'll get some good news on Dec 1. Good luck to all of us regardless of the number of interviews. If you got 1, at least you have a chance somewhere! I'm trying to be positive myself...

You are fine. Post-dec processes have barely begun. Most schools are still trying to decide on their first round of acceptances, I know my top school is.

I applied to 1 school, got one interview, got accepted. I do not recommend only applying to one school. In retrospect, it was incredibly risky.

Feel bad for me son, I got 99 interviews but an acceptance ain't one.

I had 2 pre-dec invites (4 total) last cycle and here I am this cycle with 3 pre and 4 total again. I had some things going against me last time but I hopefully did enough damage control for something this cycle.

On a related note, more interviews doesnt always necessarily mean youll have an easier time. A member here called laughinggas had 9 interviews and finally got 1 acceptance when he was taken off the waitlist a few months after december.

GL, dont fret too much if you dont get in it is not the end of the world you can always beef up your app and try again.
