I just started to study a little bit for boards. I am begining with anatomy and have a few questions. Are there any questions about the upper and lower extremities on the exam, or am I ok if i just look at the head, neck, and trunk (Muscles, nerves, vessels, organs)?? Do I need to study EVERY muscles origin and insertion or just stick with what the decks say? Any advice on how to go about this would be great. I am a little overwhelmed. Thanks in advance for all of your replies. -AUSTIN

By the way, passing with an average score is cool with me.

sure austin1, i'll help you out.

yes, must know every muscle in the body inc., but not limited to insertions, origins, innervations, and functions.

the pelvic innervation was a bitch. i didn't know that as dentists we needed to know anything below the waist.

good luck champ!

p.s.

an average score is cool with me too!

I saw 4 questions on the brachial plexus, quite a few that dealt with the abdominal cavity, and no questions that dealt with the pelvis or legs.
