Hi,

Quick questions regarding those of you in the 225ish range before taking DIT -

I recently scored a 227 on NBME 6 and was reconsidering taking DIT even though I already ordered it. I'm supposed to start it in a few days and have 5 weeks left. I am hoping for a 235.

1) Do you think DIT helped you, either simply to reinforce FA (not new info perhaps and maybe not raise your score) or actually directly raised your score?
2) Is there something else you wish you did instead? (I am going to start WORLD as well and go through it twice. USMLERx and Kaplan are halfway done, Goljan blue margins and some audio here/there is done as well)
3) And for those, who didn't take DIT - what in your opinion is the best way to get those last few points (besides WORLD) because I know it gets progressively harder as you have to move from high yield to semi high yield, etc...Tips on moving from 230 - 240, etc would be nice.

Thanks in advance!

I was in that range before taking DIT. I scored a 230 on the CBSE 2 in the middle of April and started DIT in the middle of May. After 1 week I took a NBME and was still in the 230 range. I was taking the class live and switched to online because we would spend a lot of time of stuff I already knew and with the online version you can speed him up. I completed DIT and my test is this week. I took UWSA 1 yesterday and got a 257 on it. I heard it inflates your score but is most representative of the test. I do think that DIT helped. There is some extra information you get from it and it helps to focus a study plan.

okay cool. thank you! i think i will stick to it and fast forward him if he starts talking about Punnet squares.

2 days into the course.. I got a huge headache, and I dont have time for much else, but this is def good stuff.

Is there anyway to just get the handout for DIT?

nope dont think so, but the handout really isnt the meat of the course - he adds a decent amount of info not in FA and then u use the handout to have some active recall
