I got my acceptance email on my phone about 10 minutes before my KCUMB interview (literally). It made the KCUMB interview even more laid back than it already was.
Emails.
Got an email right before I went to shower to go to work. It came at 5pm (I work nights) and I still get excited thinking about that moment. First acceptance and number one choice.
In a letter and in person...
I called one school to check my status and was accepted over the phone. The other three came via snail mail.
By letter and over the phone.
CCOM and AZCOM: found out through the online portal and then a letter was sent

Email at work, left early cause I wasn't "feeling well" and went out and celebrated

I found out about CCOM by email. It was a great way to start Halloween weekend.
I found a letter in my mailbox after a 9 hour drive home from Erie, PA (interview). I don't even know how the crappy feeling after an interview + drive can suddenly change into a feeling of bliss, but that was the night I experienced the transition in such feelings.
One of the schools called me. Another emailed me. Another sent me a letter. Looks I got everything covered except a fax![]()
Don't forget the school that sends an adcom representative to your house and gives you the "hug of acceptance".

Yea covered for me except it was the "hug of rejection"
A phone call. A friend of mine goes to the school I was accepted at. The director of admissions knew this, so when the time came to make the call, they tracked down my friend and brought her to the office and let her make the acceptance call to me. So awesome of them. What a great day that was!

That's cool!
I got an acceptance via email. It really made my day - especially since it was my long day working two jobs. The greatest part about the acceptance was that it said "acceptance" right in the subject line. A few days later, I got the snail mail acceptance. Not knowing what to do with it, I mailed it to my mom!

Umm... I got one of those... Except I was still at the school, so no one came to my house... But I got an acceptance hug... sorry 😛
That's cool!
That is sick! Granted its been a few years now since I was accepted anywhere but I got one call. I was sitting on I 76 west in rushhour (worst road EVER and u can be stuck for hours). I was sitting there FCKING pissed bc I was trying to meet someone. My phone rang and I picked it up and it was the dean of the college. Dont remember his exact wording but he told me I was accepted. It was my first acceptance so I was basically freaking out sitting there stuck in a fing sardine can of traffic haha. Didnt end up going there but having my mood go from totally pissed to "holy **** im actually going to be a doctor" was a memorable experience!
My first acceptance came by mail. A few days later, my second came as a pdf attachment in an email. The following week, I got two by phone call the same day (I love the acceptance phone calls). That was a great day. I missed the first phone call while dealing with some graduation paperwork at my school, and he left me a message and an email asking for me to call him back. I did, and he broke the good news to me by telling me I'd "blown the admissions committee away." I was very happy and excited during this call. Then on my train ride home, I received my second phone call that day from the Dean of another school. I was very excited again, and he didn't seem quite sure how to respond to my excitement, lol.
