Hello all,
So I just have a quick question as I am wondering how this will affect me.

I took a class at school A, got a B+. Transferred, did not get credit for that class at school B. It is a graduation requirement and a math class. Will it look bad if I retake the class even though I got a B+ this first time? Because I don't have a choice at this point. I imagine it'd look especially bad if I didn't get an A?

Thank you for your help

I think you answered your own question. Degree > no degree lol. I doubt someone will scrutinize your transcript this deeply. The cum/sci GPA will be the focus.

Don't feel too bad, I had to retake Org I when I moved to a different school, at least it was free. No one actually asked and I got accepted.

It's a math class. DO schools don't factor math into the sgpa and don't care that much about retakes. Just don't do poorly and hurt your cgpa.

Thank you both for your replies
Pop- You're right. This thread was definitely posted out of frustration because I'm basically asking this question as if I had any sort of alternative haha. I don't, so I guess it didn't really matter.

Dr. Mike- That's good to hear. I guess as long as i don't significantly drop off in terms of grade I should be fine. thank you

If you need it to graduate, obviously take it.

It'll look bad if you do poorly in it, but if you do about the same as the first time, it won't matter much. I doubt anyone will care if you go from B+ to B; just don't drop to C- or something.
