I'm submitting my AMCAS application next month and may not get in to any of the schools I applied to come acceptance time

If I don't get accepted anywhere can I reapply that same cycle or am I do have to apply the following year?

If you apply during the 2014-2015 cycle and don't get in anywhere, you can reapply for the 2015-2016 cycle. You cannot reapply to the 2014-2015 cycle, as it will be over when you learn if you got in or not. Is that what you're asking?

Yes that's exactly the answer I looking for! Sorry about the bad wording.

If you aren't getting interviews, you can also try adding more schools, but you're less likely to get interviews at those programs by the time you realize you're not getting interviews other places because it'll be much later in the cycle.

Also keep in mind during the cycle that there could be period of 3+ months of silence from any given school. Just because they haven't sent you anything doesn't mean they won't/don't like you. Unless you're completely confident you're going to get in this cycle (and it doesn't sound like the case), keep strengthening your application throughout. Volunteering and working gives you interview fodder as well as potential updates later in the cycle, not to mention it keeps you sharp.
Good luck this year!
