Hi,
I've been recently accepted into both MSW program at Fordham and MHC program at Pace. My goal is to become a psychotherapist. What I need most is a solid clinical foundation. Here are my questions:
1) how clinical is Fordham? I know it's not as clinical as NYU but does anybody here has more specific information/opinions they can share? I'm concerned that a few electives wouldn't provide the strong clinical tool bag that I'd like.
2) MHC -- I see posts here discouraging from going that route in NY because of lack of recognition/hard time finding supervised jobs to accrue the licensing hours/problems with insurances etc. Most of the posts are from a few years ago. I wonder what is the situation right now.
3) Anybody has experience with the mental health counseling program at Pace University?
