Hello,
I've just for fun taken 4 semesters of German and got A's in those classes. The thing is I'm native German. When applying for US med schools they will probably know that I was born in Germany and that I kind of cheated with taking 4 semesters of my native language.
Will that hurt my chances of getting admitted?
Thanks

I doubt that your transcript will be microanalyzed to that extent. I'm sure that many applicants have a bit of fluff on their transcript, eg the archetypal 'Basketweaving.' US schools generally require a year of English classes for English speakers. I don't see that there's a huge difference trying to polish one's writing/reading skills in one's native language. Don't worry about it.

short answer: NOPE

Latinos from the US, who grew up speaking Spanish in the household do it all the time...no big deal.
