Hey guys,
I have sort of complicated question.
So here is the thing.
I graduated from foreign university with life science major which satisfies most of pre-requisites for med-school.
I guess I should mention that I am a citizen.
I am now going to a school in pennsylvania doing my second degree.
The thing is,
this school accepted almost 88 credits from my previous foreign college. That leaves me not many credits in order to graduate.
I sent tons of emails asking if they would accept my prerequisites that I took from foreign school so I don't have to take all of them again.
Some said they would take it, some said no.
I am taking upper level classes at this moment.
Now, I am facing this 90+ credits in the states thing. Does that exclude the credits I took from foreign college even they were properly transferred to the university I am currently attending?
The classes were credited as equivalent courses without grades.
I will be able to graduate next semester with just finishing 54 credits in the states.
Since some schools said they would honor my university's decision for taking previous credits as equivalent, do they count those credits as the part of 90 credits?
I am so confused and pretty discouraged 🙁
Did anybody have similar case like myself?
Any advise would help me alot! Thanks!
p.s. is there any texas med schools doesn't have 90 credits rule?
