I have this small doubt. How important is the letter of recommendation in the selection process for a foreign dental graduate. I mean, it is gonna be difficult for me to tell the dean of my dental school to personally post those letters individually to every college.

Ask the dean to send the rec letter directly to you . You can then send an attested/notarized copy of the rec letter to all the schools, only a couple of schools (nova for eg)wants rec letter directly from the school, if its almost impossible for u to ask the dean to send it to them , then ask the dean to send a couple more copies in stamped & sealed envelops to you, & then explain the situation to that particular school & send the sealed envelops .
