foreign language class = Humanities???

I was wondering, if a class lists that you need credits under "other humanities and behavioral sciences", can you count foreign language classes under that category?

You prabably should ask the school (or name it - maybe someone here has some experience with the same school).

Was it a foreign literature class? I think you'd have a better argument for calling that "humanities" than you would for "Je m'appelle Robert"-type french class, for example.

sorry, the school that prompted it was SLU, but I've run into this a few other times. Not foreign lit, just language. Humanities is such a broad topic though. I would think foreign language would fall under that.
