Taking summer foreign language. No offense to anyone, but this absolutely sucks. I have online homework and I have to listen to recordings where the people talking have super thick accents, and I can't understand them for the life of me and I need to respond to certain questions, and I can't answer them because I can't understand what they are asking. >.<

Anyone else have issues like this taking a foreign language? I do well in the class, but it's these hearing assignments where I have trouble understanding them. It's super frustrating

Are they speaking English or the language you are learning? If they are speaking English and you cannot understand them, you should make a complaint to the provider (university) providing the instruction. If you cannot understand the foreign language, you need more practice to train your ear.
