Foreign Pharmacist Internship

Hello...

Any advice for a Foreign Pharmacist looking for an internship in the US? Sent out lots of resumes, and with almost zero responses....

US Citizen, so no visa issues, and willing to move almost anywhere....

Should I find work as a tech and try to leverage that? Or?

Yes, in Fl

Many other states need signature of preceptor before issuing license.... catch -22?

Intentional, and yes. You're supposed to be in the system to get it. Then, you can only be a FL intern, so you won't have to search very far. It's a saturated area.

Might need to just walk around from one indepedent to another and volunteer... the budget for interns in chains has been reduced and the number of interns looking for jobs has been multiplied by 10 fold it seems... California got rid of requirement for outside of school intern hours couple of yrs ago... when I covered a shift for my friend at in independent a dude walked in from the new Fresno school asking me for a job... part of me felt empathy for him, part of me did not... lol
