    Hello...
I would like to ask a simple questions here, what are the rules and the chances for accepting foreign sponsored trainees (those who are already sponsored by their goverments or any other sectors" in a residency program in Canada? Do they have to go thru the matching process?

    Thanx an advance..

I don't know a lot of specifics but I do know in my program we had foreign sponsored trainees from Saudi Arabia and the Bahamas. No, they do not go thru the match process. They had their own application process and I'm not really sure how that worked. I know there are such trainees at most programs in the country. Goodluck.
