Hi everyone i wanted to apply to the dental cycle this year. i am a new student from Denmark (5th year in America) so im not to sure of the DAT score i need to get into dental school. i plan on taking the dat in july or early august.

my gpa is 3.3 and science is 3.0. i do have W's and 1 F and i took again and got an A (in genetics) . i also did shadowing and work in a dental office as of now.

what would you say my aim for dat score should be and if i should do anything else to be a good candidate. also what schools would you say i apply to with my statistics.

thank you everyone and forgive me for my bad grammar 🙂

Agree with 22 being a good number to aim for.

Have a kickass personal statement that highlights the uniqueness of being from Denmark.

Strong, personal letters of recs are really important!

Check if you need to take the TOEFL test.

With your statistics, I would apply to many schools, esp private. You should try to find out how many international students they've accepted before, since some schools almost never take international students so you don't want to waste your money applying there.
