...but is it possible to skip a year in medical school? I'm just curious.
My AP human biology class in high school doesn't even count toward my MD degree so they probably won't let you skip.
What year could you skip?
😕 What are you asking? What year could you skip?
I'm sure you're a genius and all, but med school takes that much time for various good reasons.
actually, it is technically possible. look into duke's med school curriculum. what you do at other places in your first two years of med school you do in one year at duke. but you do research for the other year, so you won't be able to graduate in three years, but you will be able to do all requied course work/training in three with a year of research. maybe the research year has some teaching component to it, i'm not certain, but duke does make you do what you do at other schools in two years in one year, granted you will be crying the whole way through..
Some schools let you place out of some of the classes by taking a placement test.
