I just recently submitted an AACOMAS app, and while filling out that app, I realized I had taken a college-level class in high school. I completely forgot about it while I was filling out AMCAS. What should I do now? Should I call AMCAS to see if they can update my class list? Should I email the MD schools I applied to individually? I got an A- in the class; it would drop my AMCAS cGPA and sGPA marginally. It was an honest mistake, but I hope it doesn't end up hurting me.

I don’t think it will hurt you OP. I’m 90% sure AMCAS will tell you they won’t be able to update your app to schools but you can give them a call.

You definitely cannot update AMCAS this late in the cycle. I'm not sure if schools will hold is against you. How are you doing on the interview front? If you have any acceptances, I highly doubt it will matter. For other schools, you could put it in an update if you're really worried, but I highly doubt that is the crux of your application.

What class was it? If it was a core class like math, calc, etc then I think it would be a good idea to class AMCAS or maybe not. But, if it is a pre-req like intro bio which would be required for both a science degree (bio, chem, etc.) then It would be even more important because it is also a requirement for medical schools to see you took that. A- is just fine. I would call AMCAS or even more so speak to a medical school admissions rep they can give you the best answer.

I've had a few interviews. No acceptances, but have been waitlisted at a couple places.

It was a calculus class, but I've got all my prereqs down without it.
