Forgot to send in MCAT Scores!!! Did I screw myself over?!

Hi everyone!

I just realized I had to send in my mcat scores to AACOMAS and that it was not automatic! I had been complete for a week and started receiving secondaries but I couldn't figure out why my MCAT scores weren't showing up. Will this put my application on hold?? How long does it take for scores to show up and be sent to schools?? I was hoping to get interviews before the end of the year but now I think I just screwed myself over :[ Any insight anyone??

Calm!! No this isn't going to screw you over at all. This time last year I didn't even TAKE the MCAT, and I had four interview invites before the end of 2008. Had about your same overall GPA but you got a better MCAT, so calm down, you're fine.

As for how long, about 2-3 weeks. Call each school and make sure they have your scores by the one month line. I got ****ed up with PCOM because they didn't get my scores, despite the fact that the 17 other schools I applied to got them.

I don't know why it takes so long. Everything with AACOMAS is so freaking ridiculous.

Only certain schools send you the secondary with the interview (ex. NYCOM and Touro-NY)

You have a lot of time left, and good stats. You'll be getting interviews before you know it.

Like I said, just keep track of who has your **** and who doesn't. You'll be fine.
