Yeah, rushed a bit towards the end of PS. I thought BS was decent, as was VR (although I had to rush through the last passage).

I got through 8 with 5 minutes left in the test!!! I had to read through and got a few but passage 9 was hard. I thought PS and BS were fine though.

Yeah...I left out 1 passage for VR...good thing I left out the hard one! Anyone who finished know if there were a lot of B's on the last passage?

I rushed through the last passage of PS also and didnt finish. Anyone know if there were a lot of B's there? 😀

I didn't have time to do the ASL passage or the last passage on the PS. I thought the PS was easier than my April 05 MCAT, but it was still tough. I though it was more like AAMC 8 than 9, which screwed me in PS. The VR had some confusing questions and boring passages. I like the evolution and Yeats passages. WS and BS were very easy for me, except for the zebrafish passage. I liked the lack of O Chem as well.

Well, having taken both the April 05 and August 05 MCATs, AND both times having gotten the version of the test with the hardest PS, I thought the PS was decent (but then again, this time around I had focused my studies mainly on PS)...

Verbal was my issue with this test (and note, verbal is usually my best section)...At first the verbal was OK and then started to get harder/more boring...I ran out of time and GUESSED on the last passage all the way through (anyone know if there were a lot of "C" answers on that one, by chance?)

Bio was OK...Lots more molecular bio/genetics than physio...Zebrafish passage was annoying. O-chem was sparse, but not super easy...

In general I noticed that after passage 5 or so of each section, I started to slow down...Not sure if it's because the material was organized in such a way as to get more challenging, or because my brain was timing out...

Also, dumb as it may be, I noticed my timing issues on the real test were due to the fact that on practice tests I would be lazy about filling in the bubbles all the way, whereas on the real thing, I was obviously being diligent.

Lastly, having used EK Verbal 101 for my verbal practice, the passages with a lot of questions really bugged.

During lunch I heard a lot of people complaining about the verbal sections of their tests...So maybe verbal in general is getting harder, whereas last year everyone was complaining about their PS sections.

I thought I had the form pattern down, but I guess not. I thought that all forms with the same second letter had the same material but in a different order? I had form AL, but everything you named above was on my test. One exception, I had 3 orgo passages in BS.
