Formatting Personal Statement on AADSAS Indent Problem

When I have my personal statement in the text box, everything looks fine and the paragraphs are indented, but when I "preview" the text comes up with no indentations and all my text is left-aligned. Is this just how it has to be? I've tried it with "tab" indents and just 5-space indents and they both come up left-aligned on the preview. Any help would be appreciated! 🙂
