Hello,
After 2.5 years of surgery residency, my former program and I parted ways on good terms. It was not misconduct, negligence, or professional violation etc. I feel it was more personality/social along with some technical issues. I have been working with wellness counselors and am now ready to restart residency. I am looking for any open PGY1, PGY2 or PGY3 positions, any preliminary PGY1 or PGY2, or any open research positions.
I am a DO applicant with COMLEX scores 543/524/603, all passed on 1st try.
I have scored above average on my ACOS in-service exams.
I have completed 2 research project during residency, 1 was published and 1 abstract submitted to ACS. In medical school, I also published another research project.
