Is there is a formula that can get me plasma volume given height weight or body surface area. Reference would be appreciated

thanks

This is obviously an estimate, but...

Total body water = 60% of body weight
extracellular fluid = 40% of total body water
plasma volume = 20% of extracellular fluid

Medical Physiology - Boron and Boulpaep

ECF is 20% of body weight.
Plasma is 1/4 of ECF.

Therefore:
Body Weight x .2 x 1/4 ~ Plasma weight

Plasma weight/ H20 density will roughly equal plasma volume.

Alternatively (and much more accurately):

Add a known quantity of Evans blue to the plasma. Allow to equibrilate.
V = amount added/final concentration
