Formulary development--microhospital

Does anyone have any experience developing a formulary for a small hospital, mostly an ER with a few admitted beds, no surgery, no PCI, no stroke center beyond alteplase, etc. What resources can one use and where does one find them? Thank you in advance!

Find other CAH in your state, there are usually rural hospital associations, and ask them if they will share their formulary. Comb through and see what you agree with, can strike or need to add. That should give you 95% of what you want. No need to reinvent the wheel.
