Is it necessary to memorize any formulas for USMLE Step 2?

Examples include: A-a gradient, corrected retic count, corrected serum sodium in hyperglycemia

I would know all the basic labs, electrolytes and bood. Add ca, mg, phos. Sensitivity and specificity. Most vignettes (and the test is mostly vignettes) will have labs, and it is a waste of time to always be clicking back.

You should remember the rise and fall of virus and antibodies for HIV and Hepatitis, since those are topics on the test. Try to remember the basics of the menstrual cycle (these are not really formulas, but still.)
