Honestly, I cannot remember ever clicking on the normal lab values icon during Step I, so I wouldn't stress about it too much.
As far as equations go, I also can't remember using any in the test. I would think that the useful ones would be 1. anion gap calculation 2. the acidosis and alkalosis correction equations (like bicarb changes x amount for every 1.0 change in CO2), and 3. MAYBE creatinine clearance and FENa to help out in determining renal vs. prerenal pathology, etc. 4. lung volumes 5. Cardiac output
I can't think of anything else off the top of my head that may be useful during the test. I don't think I had any ?? asking me to calculate stuff...more like questions where being able to calculate a value would help me out with the diagnosis.
