I have been blessed with acceptances this cycle. However this morning I was working on creating a new CV based of my AMCAS application and noticed that I put the wrong date for one of my most meaningful experiences. I put 1/2018 but it should be 1/2019. Before submitting my application I reviewed my app plenty of times but I guess i didn’t catch it. I have a LOR for this experience and my hours are accurate as they can be because I’m still doing this experience. I think i made my mistake by initially putting 12/18 as my start date because that’s when I got hired, but I rechecked that my official start date was on 1/19….so I just changed the month attempting to be accurate. So now I’m just like what do I do?

It won’t come back at me during my 4th year? And get kicked out

You'll be fine. Once you get into medschool, unless you commit a homicide, the school will do everything it can to ensure you are not kicked out...

What if they do due diligence in the pre matriculation stage. Would it be over for me?

Then you just explain your easily explainable mistake.

To ease your concern, I was invited to a pre-matriculation get together at a faculty member's house where the dean of admissions was in attendance. They proceeded to tell how they had to wade through thousands of apps and eliminated apps with spelling/punctuation errors. I opened my big mouth and said to the entire room of faculty and fellow peers, OMG I had over 5-6 errors in my PS.

Still gonna graduate...

Thanks for the comfort y’all. Just one more concern. If I call/email them would it hurt me bad? Like rescind my acceptance?

Ever heard of the saying don't spotlight a negative? Only respond if your school brings it up, and they likely won't...

It's only a month, and it seems like this is causing you a lot of anxiety, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say why not reach out to someone at the school. Be heartfelt, explain that it was a mistake, and explain that it's only a month. I highly doubt that the school will do anything but reassure you that you are gonna be okay. And then you can put it behind you.

It’s a whole one year difference though

Well it's not clear because OP has stated, "... putting 12/18 as my start date because that's when I got hired." That's what I was going off of. Maybe the OP could clarify.

When I first opened my app I put 12/2018, because that’s when the job offer was given to me. However my official start was 1/2019. So when I went back to my application to change the date, I only changed the month….totally forgot about the year.
