do programs care what you take during your fourth year? I potentially could have a lot of free time because of credits I took during the first 2 years but I don't want to look "lazy" by having a light schedule.

besides derm rotations are there other electives i SHOULD take? I'm really tempted to take burns or plastics because they're related to derm and that is what i am 100% interested in. I was also considering genetics or some kind of research (but no derm research unfortunately at my school). I don't see the point in taking electives I'm not that interested in just to fill up my schedule.

thanks for your help!

Derm programs don't particularly care

Take courses you are interested in

or

Take courses because they are easy so you can fit in interviews, Step 2 studying, vacations, lounging around time
