i was hoping to do better then this but these scores are a little better then the first time right? I have a 3.72 BCP, a 3.68 cum and really good ec's (genetics/cellnmolec tutor, won the junior olympics, interning at an orthodontist next semester, bio honor society, published research, etc); do you think ill make into UMDNJ (my #1)? also, im dyslexic but didnt ask for extra time or anything (mainly because i didnt think id get it because iv never asked for special help before, my professors dont even know im dyslexic). should i call schools and tell them? or maybe bring it up at an interview if they ask why my RC is so low? to be honest im pretty happy my RC stayed the same as last time considering I got the 22 paragraph ethics passage!!
heres how i studied each section and what i thought on test day:
bio- same thing most people say, some questions are ridiculously random and you cant really prepare too well for them. most of the questions were fair but a few were really hard, and a few could have been debatable (i always get the debatable ones wrong!!). the frap question itself i didnt think was too bad. i studied mainly using kaplan. i went through the blue book and turned it into flashcards. i also went through bio, genetics and cellnmolec class notes, studied questions from topscore and acheiver and of course, SDN. oh also i do well with animations. i went on the publishers website for my cellnmolec textbook and watched the animations on protein synthesis, photosynthesis, etc. if any1 wants ill post the link.
chem- mostly conceptual. i few tricky ones and a few ridiculously easy ones. i studied using kaplan blue book.
orgo- a few more lab techniques then i was ready for. i studied using class notes since thats what i did last time and got a 21 but w/e.
pat- def harder then practice tests in my opinion. esp on pattern folding. it was more focused on folding rather then the pattern part, if that makes sense.
rc- like i said before, im dyslexic. i tried my hardest and im glad it didnt drop below 16. i used search and destroy this time, but the road map last time.
qr- not too bad. i thought kaplan was pretty comparable to it. i went through all the equations first and then went back and did the word problems. the last one i was working on i got the right answer (im pretty sure) with 1 second to spare and didnt have time to switch the answer...soooo frustrating!!! ill be around the next few days to answer any questions.
