So I won't be able to submit AACOMAS until the first of July because I can't pay my student bill (and get my transcript submitted) until my education reimbursement comes in from the hospital where I work, and that's the first of July. Also, I'll be in Europe from the 6th of July to the 26th of July. If I submit on the first of July, will I get secondaries by the beginning of August, and if/when I receive secondaries then and fill/send them right away, will I be okay, timetable-wise, or are many seats filled by then? Thanks!

You still got plenty of time. You can submit AACOMAS before sending your transcript, and if I was in your case I would just submit it. Go relax.

yeah dont stress over the july 1st send date. u are still ahead of the game in my honest opnion. thats only 2 weeks after when most of the early birds will send their apps (april mcat scores come back on june 16th).

Thanks for the input, all. I just had visions of tons of people hitting "submit" simultaneously on the first of June, getting secondaries back in mid-June, and interviewing by August 1st, about the time I'll be filling out and sending secondaries. Obsessive, or not?

no way adcoms will be that quick on things. they are still finalizing some of the waitlists from the year before!

I didn't submit my application until Sept. and still got in just fine. Relax and have fun in Europe.
