freaking out about COMLEx..

Hey all:
i have my comlex scheduled for next wednesday. I am really freaking out, was even thinking of postponing the test.
I did the entire COMLEX kaplan qbank, ended up with a 69 average. did the practice booklet from the NBOME (the $9 one) and got 71% correct, and 515 on the COMSAE. however, i felt like i was guessing a lot, especially on the NBOME practice items and COMSAE. this week i'm trying to re read first aid and high yield neuro topics as well as OMT and pharm but i feel like i'm not retaining much info....

i was shooting for at least a 500 on the real test.........i wonder if i should postpone

Just take it. You'll feel like you're guessing a lot on the real one too, but no amount of extra studying will fix that, it just seems to be designed that way. Hammer out as much neuro, and pharm (psych drugs) as you can between now and next tuesday (try to relax on tuesday, get a good night's sleep) and take the test. You'll be happy its over.

Just knock the test out. I'm sure you'll do fine and likely surpass that 515 on the real deal. Pushing back the COMLEX doesn't make since if you did prepare because some of the questions are a little random and you likely would not have studied those things you are unsure about even with an extra month of studying. Good luck and be confident in yourself.

you will be fine. as most people have said already in this thread, there will always be some stuff on there that you would have *never* studied even if you had an extra 2 months. Sounds like you have a good amount of solid studying, and you'll be fine
