freaking out about math score on achiever test!!

I just took my first achiever test.Im pretty happy with my science score TS18..pat and math killed me. I got a 15 on QR and 16 on pat . I'm shocked about my pat score I usually score 21-22 on CDP. And math, I just dont know what to do anymore. I have never finished a math section on any of my practice tests on time. I bought math destroyer, have completed it already once, and now doing my second round. What can I do about math, I feel like I'm really going to bomb it on the real thing!!!

I never did Achiever so I can't speak from that, but it seems like the general consensus is that it is a lot more difficult than the real thing. I think the only thing you can do is to keep working on math problems. Also, why did you get 16? Was it not understanding problems, or just running out of time, etc? I would get topscore if you are concerned about PAT too; I feel like topscore was most similar when it came to the real thing for PAT. Good luck!

I think it would be best if you started reviewing Trig and other subjects covered in QR.

Achiever is generally supposed to be a little harder than the real thing, but the QR section was pretty accurate in representing the real test.

For PAT, except the pattern folding section in Achiever (which I thought was a little harder than the real DAT PAT questions) everything else is pretty similar in difficulties compared to the real DAT.

If you missed a lot on the pattern folding then I would not worry too much.

I missed a lot of the key holes.. I only got 4 correct!!! They were really tricky.. I actually thoguht I had most of them right too... I guess I can just go over them today and understand why I got them wrong. Macggyver I actually fininshed the pat just in time... tfe and keyholes gave me problems though....But thanks for the tips guys!!
