Here's the issue. I am failing second semester Chemistry and microbiology and am retaking them this summer. Last year i dropped chem 1 and retook it the following semester and got an A. How many retakes is too much when schools are looking at my grades? I know I can do the work I just have not applied myself as much as I should.

If you are failing micro and chemistry then you should be worried. You do realize if you fail a class and retake it pharmacy schools calculate both grades in your GPA (even if your university just replaces it)?

Not to mention that the school will either think you are lazy for dropping/failing so many classes or they will think you are not cut out for the coursework, neither of which are good. These classes are really not that difficult... why should they accept you? What's going to happen when you take biochemistry? What's going to happen if you enter pharmacy school and are taking 5 classes that are all harder than microbiology?
