Hey Guys-

I've only posted on the Medicine forums before, but i was wondering if i could get some info. I'm gonna see my dentist soon for a checkup/cleaning, but iwas wondering if i could ask you guys for some free medical advice before i get there so i dont sound like an idiot talking to my dentist.

Anyway, I dont have a very good smile, which has kinda bothered me lately. I have spaces in my teeth, not a lot of cavities. Most imprtantly, my top and bottom teeth don't come together, and last time i saw someone (like more than 2 yrs ago). I'd like to get it corrected, but i dont want any visible metal or anything in my mouth. I've had a consultation for Invisalign from a general practice dentist who said that it probably wasn't for me. Do I have any other alternatives? I'm pretty much only interested in the aesthetic appearance, though being functionally correct would be pretty cool too. I just heard about lumineers, but i dont know if that would help me. What do you guys think? Are there any other alternatives?
