Anyone know of a FREE drug monograph database? At the hospital where I work, the system automatically print out monographs/med-guides which each new prescription for the outpatients. I was thinking about starting to do that here in the independent but my Rx system doesn't have built in monographs.

If your pharmacy has a subscription to Lexi or Clin Pharm there are patient handouts for every drug as I recall.

If none of your pharmacies have either one, if there is one person on earth who can track down a useable ‘free’ login, I believe that person is you sparda.

Dailymed.nlm.nih.gov has every single fda-approved med guide and package insert in a easily searchable database. Your tax dollars at work.
I actually use this site almost daily to track down information. Great stuff.

Dailymed could work if manual search and print is what you are looking for... a more integrated auto print function linked to your dispensing system might be a little different. They might have a way to automate calls to their database to get it directly tho
