Could someone explain to me what Free Form lenses are and how they are different from conventional single vision lenses?

Do they excel in optics for high index/scipts?

Put simply, it's like the difference between a hand-tailored suit and wearing one off the rack.

The lens is individually surfaced based on your prescription and the shape of the frame.

If you have a high Rx or a lot of astigmatism, or wear a frame that "wraps" around your head, you'll notice an improvement. Have a simple Rx, probably not.
