Hello SDN Students!
We’re excited to introduce ourselves. Our names are Jason and Prashant and we were medical students at Temple University in Philadelphia not too long ago. Let’s be honest: Step 1 is a monstrous exam with information drawn from a wide range of different sources. We know the best scores always go above and beyond First Aid, so we enhanced our studying with countless other books, websites, and videos. By the end, we had our own set of high-yield notes, buzzwords, and most importantly, shortcuts to recall bigger concepts. We thought, why just keep these notes to ourselves? We should share them with everyone to beat this exam! And so USMLE-Simple was born!
After successful Step 1 Exams in 2013, we started making videos from our collective notes, and shared them with our classmates as well as our professors. They really loved our videos. The students that used our videos saw great success while studying for the step 1 exam.
Based on their recommendations, feedback, and comments, we decided to make changes to our Microbiology videos and are now offering them to everyone that is taking this immense exam.

Our other subjects including Behavior Science and Biostatistics, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Biochemistry will soon be available as we gather more feedback and still improve them so that we teach only the best and highest yield material to our subscribers. Our aim is to teach “Only the High Yield, and None of the Distracting Details!”
