I am thinking about starting a sort of 'medical school interview & application consulting' business as a part time gig, and I'd like to do some pro-bono mock interview consulting to see how it goes.
I had 12 interviews at MD schools last year and received 10 acceptances and 2 waitlists. --Yes, this is not necessarily an indication that I am great at interviews, but it shows that I've seen a lot of different interviews from the perspective of an applicant, and I at least know how to not screw it up. I gave a mock interview to a friend last year and I really enjoyed giving her feedback (and she was accepted to all 3 of the grad schools where she interviewed), which is what sparked my interest.
If you are interested, send me a PM or reply to this post. I've looked around at some of the firms out there and they all charge $150+ per hour for interview consulting (justifiable, since they are professionals). This is your chance to get some advice for free (albeit from an amateur, ha).
