Okay I just did a free kaplan full length, their shortneded, "scaled" version of the real thing...
AA:17
Biology: Scaled score of 10 haha...I hope this doesn't mean an actual 10
GenChem: "scaled score of 10?" I know this is probably crappy...but what does this mean?
Organic Chem: "scaled score of 11?"...but I got 21 right?
PAT: scaled score of 17, surprised
Reading: skipped cuz I keep getting 20+
Quantitative: scaled score of 10

Whats this scaled score mean?

I am prefacing my post by saying I have no idea what scaled score actually means. 🙂

Well, I took the online test about a month ago and got :
Natural Sciences - 12
Biology - 8
General Chemistry - 8
Organic Chemistry - 7
Perceptual Ability - 14
Quantitative Reasoning - 16
Reading Comprehension - 18

This is coming from someone who is taking the lowest level chem class available at my school right now... as in I haven't learned the stuff yet.

So basically, my theory is that it's spitting out more or less random numbers.

... just because there's no way that I would get that close to you on the bio, gchem, and ochem sections. So yeah, my opinion is that it's kinda messed up. Either that, or I got really lucky on my guessing, and the "scaled score" is like half of what your score would be or something weird like that.

I'm not sure, that sounds reasonable that the scaled score could be half of what it actually is..hell I hope it is. But anyways...I'm really working on my gen chem and math, I've found that factoring complex calculations helps out a whole heck of alot...less division and multiplication involved...and with simpler numbers at the least. Can't believe it took me this long to catch onto that, heh. Anywho, doing gen chem all day...will take another full length tomorrow...topscore.
