If you feel that you are interested in learning more about the subspecialty, networking, and having access to many of the professional organization's resources (such as JPSM) give them a look. I took advantage of it years ago back as a resident -- so there is no bait and switch. Money is tight during the years in training, AAHPM has made it so you have nothing to lose!

PS: I have no disclosures about this post RE: AAHPM. I have no vested interest or benefit -- besides having the word spread about HPM as to better serve patients in the future.
