During my first 2 years of med school I made numerous flashcard programs, including text and image versions. I also made a program the makes mind maps out of text outlines. Many of my classmates used the software, as do many of the classes that have followed. It's all here and it's all freeware:

Yes, its still there. Go to the URL I listed in my previous post. The Flashpoint programs is the most useful. I'm using it for histology right now and its pretty useful.
 
Yup, you can change/edit/remove all data in the programs. They are just general flashcard programs, with some content there that I found helpful in years 1 and 2.

thank you for sharing the programs... just studying some path and pharm ... this looked really interesting. just need to get used to the program.. 🙂
