I've tutored students taking basic algebra through calculus. Mostly former classmates and some friends and mutual friends. I'd like to put this down on my application, but I'm kind of stumped as to how to do so. I've never made any money from doing this tutoring, so it's basically been a voluntary gig. My question is: how would I go about putting this on my application? Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

List under nonclinical volunteering as private tutor. List all of the normal duties of a private tutor except that you provide charity tutoring for those who are struggling. Sound professional about it as you would listing paid private tutoring.

Put it as a volunteering thing? Maybe as some kind of teaching experience?

Not sure where the confusion is. What are you worried about?

I'm just not sure what to label it as. That's where my confusion was coming from.

Thank you for the help. I'll do this.
