I've actually been interested in joining the Masons for a couple years now. Seems like an awesome way to get to know people and do some service work.

There's a lodge near where I live, but I don't know anyone in it nor do I want to just waltz in and say "sup guys." They seem like a bunch of old guys from pictures that I've seen.

Yeah most members are retired from what I've seen. The only other guy at my lodge that isn't retired is slightly older than me and is working on his phd

Are most lodges fairly active from your experience? I've been thinking about looking into the Masons but I've been put off a bit by my time in Demolay in which we had 4 members before the chapter folded 🙁.
