I need some advice, I am about to start my medical degree in Manchester (UK) - cant wait for uni. A Levels have been such a hard slog and my parents never leave me alone!!! Moving into halls, it will be ace to get some freedom
I want to prepare as thoughly as possible - can anyone recommend some decent medical text books for someone just finishing their A levels and about to start at uni? and where to get the medical texts as cheap as possible.
Also i've been looking for some anatomical models as cheap as possible, i've found this site http://www.anatomicalskeletons.co.uk
will i get the quality i need from models that are so cheap. I wanted to get a life-size skeleton (I thought it would be cool to have a skeleton in my room and call him Jake!) but its less than £200, will I be able to use it for my degree? or will it be for nothing better than getting out once a year for haloween?
