I am freshman having some worries about my current progress as a Pre-Med.
Current I am taking Chem102, Bio100, Engl10, and PoliSci110.
As an insight to what type of student I am, I currently have an A+ in my chemistry, english, and political science class.
My issue lies with Bio100.
At my university, our Bio100 professor is teaching far from what I read about Bio100 being straight memorization. There are questions on the exams regarding material that aren't even in his lectures, the textbook, nor any of the readings. The average test score is a 56% for the first midterm and just as low for the second. Post-bacs and transfer students have said [on the discussion board] that this course is nothing like Bio100 at other universities and is more like an upper level biology course where you must self-learn. Also this class does not offer a curve. Right now I'm standing at a possible C. How will this affect my future applying for medical school?
It is not an option that I withdraw because I will drop below the credits needed to be a full time student.
